Welcome to Willow Point Resort, your Texas Hill Country lakeshore getaway.  Waiting for you are eleven newly built log cabins and a large five bedroom waterfront home.

The log cabins are fanned along the water's edge on a 3 acre peninsula with large old oaks, cedars and willows.  Each log cabin sleeps 6, has a full kitchen, oversized AC/heat, an open loft, and covered porch where you can enjoy scenic views across the lake.

Willow Point Resort has been featured in Texas Monthly Magazine and the Houston Chronicle as an ideal Hill Country family vacation spot and as well as a relaxing getaway for couples.

Willow Point provides campfire areas with free firewood, horseshoes, soccer, free canoes,  a jacuzzi and a water garden.  You can swim on our natural, sandy beaches, and fish from the bank or from the free rowboat.  You are welcome to bring your own boat and launch at the new free county ramp just 4 miles from us.  Feel free to leave your boat anchored on the beach overnight....depending on the weather, of course...or park it in our overflow parking area for trailers, extra cars and boats.

Behind the cabins are 2 air conditioned recreation centers....the Club House and Davy Crockett Hall.

The Club House has 2 tv areas, tables for board games, free DVDs and free popcorn and coffee in the kitchen.  The Club House is open 24 hours for all of our cabin guests to enjoy.

Davy Crockett Hall  has a full kitchen and seating for 50 people inside with additional seating for 50 in the screened in porch.  Ideal for conferences, reunions and weddings, Crockett Hall is available by reservation to our cabin guests for $300 the first day and $75 for each additional day or partial day.

The Lake House at Willow Point (pictured below) offers an authentic Texas Hill Country experience.  The house sits on over an acre with large pecan and pine trees and it's own sandy beach waterfront.  It has 3 AC/heating zones, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and will sleep 25-31 people.  It boasts a large kitchen, sit down dining for 30 people. large upper and lower decks with open views of Lake Buchanan.  The home has its own off street parking, canoes, basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, campfire area, picnic tables and charcoal grill.

We know that you and your family will find Willow Point Resort a relaxing retreat in the Texas Hill Country for your special getaways and get-togethers.

We look forward to having you here as our guests.

LAKE LEVELS: Lake Buchanan is first and foremost a water reservoir and, therefore, it is not a constant level lake.
At it's fullest capacity, the water level is at 1020 feet above sea level.
Due to the exceptional drought in 2008 and 2009, the lake level dropped to 989 feet above sea level....31 feet low.
Thankfully, fall and winter rains have raised the lake levels.
We're hopeful that this trend will continue through the spring of 2010 and that Lake Buchanan will continue to refill.
The current lake level is:
        January 14, 2010        995.62
        January 28, 2010        996.88 and raining upriver
January 29, 2010        997.55 lake level up 8 inches overnight because of some good rain showers in the watershed area
        January 30, 2010        999.35
        January 31, 2010       1000.34
        February 2, 2010        1001.10
        February  7, 2010       1003.09
