Answers to common questions
We’ve compiled a list of answers to common questions.
- Are Pets Allowed?
Sorry! We do not allow pets at this time. Service animals are welcome. However, you must provide proper certification prior to arrival at the resort.
- Can I Bring My Own Boat? Is There A Boat Ramp?
Guests are allowed to bring their own watercraft to our resort (Boats, Jet-Skis, Kayaks, Canoes, etc.) We have plenty of overflow parking on our property.
Guests assume all risk liability in the unlikely event any damage should occur.
There is not a boat ramp on the property, but there is a public boat launch located approximately 5 minutes from us!
- Do the Cabins Have WiFi?
Our internet is reliable satellite WiFi with a small bandwidth. It’s fast enough for email, work, internet searches, or YouTube, but not suited for constant video streaming. It’s strongest near the clubhouse and boosted from there to all of our lake cabins.
- Is the Beach Sandy?
Cabins 1-5 are located near/on a sea wall. The beach here is a bit rockier and requires a step down from the cabins. This tends to be the quietest part of our resort.
Cabins 6-11 have a shadier/sandier beach that’s easier for guests to get in and out of the water. We typically see families with children congregate in this part of our resort.
- Do You Allow RV Parking?
We do not have space or hook-ups to accommodate RV’s on our property. If you’re looking for RV parking near Lake Buchanan, we recommend Big Chief!
- What Time is Check In?
You can check in to your cabins from 3-6pm. Check out is at 11am.
- Is There a Minimum Night Stay Required?
The minimum booking requirement is for a 2-night stay, except during the Holidays we require 3-nights.
- What Happens if We Need to Cancel?
Cancellations for The Lake House require 90 days’ notice prior to arrival for a 50% refund of paid deposit. Cancellations will less than 90 day’s notice prior to arrival will be charged the full reservation rental cost.
Cancellations for Cabins require 30 days’ notice prior to arrival for a 50% refund of paid deposit. Cancellations with less than 30 day’s notice prior to arrival will be charged the full reservation rental cost.
“No Shows” will be charged the full reservation rental cost.
- Can I Rent a Day Pass Instead of a Cabin?
Unfortunately no, we do not give out day-pass access to our property.
- What is Included with a Lake Cabin Rental?
All log cabins can sleep up to 6. All cabins have a private bathroom, kitchenette, and AC. The kitchenette has a microwave, fridge/freezer, sink coffeemaker, toaster, dishes, and all the essentials. Bed linens are provided: sheets, blankets, pillows.
The kitchenettes have a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, sink, coffee maker and filters, toaster, dishes, glasses, cups, bowls, a pitcher, tableware, a cutting board, and a 4 burner stove top/oven. We also provide dish soap, trash bags, and kitchen towels.
All bathrooms include a shower. Please remember to bring your own shampoo, soap, and toiletries as none are provided. We do provide the toilet paper and bath towels.
To enjoy the beauty of Lake Buchanan, each cabin has a covered porch with chairs and charcoal grill. Please bring beach towels, charcoal, lighter fluid, matches. Our resort provides the BBQ tools.
- What is Included with the Lake House Rental?
The Lake House can sleep up to 25 people. It has 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. Plenty of room to spread out with over 3300 square feet of space to enjoy. The Lake House has two living areas, a full kitchen and a double deck with lake views.
The Lake House comes with a fully stocked kitchen. It has 2 refrigerator/freezers, 2 microwaves, a 4 burner stove top/oven, and all of your dishes, cups, and tableware.
We do provide bath towels for guests, but please, bring your own beach towels to enjoy the lake.
There is plenty of outdoor space with a shaded backyard that leads to the lake. There is a charcoal grill at your disposal. You just need to provide the charcoal and essentials (lighter fluid, matches/lighter, etc.)
- Are Your Cabins Wheelchair Accessible?
Unfortunately, the resort does not have wheelchair accessible cabins. The accommodations within the cabins themselves are not ADA compliant.
- How Far In Advance Can We Make a Reservation?
We accept reservations one year in advance.
- Can I Book a Cabin and Invite My Friends Over?
We only allow registered guests to stay on the property in the cabins and in the lake house. Outside guest are not permitted.
- Do you Accept Credit Cards?
Yes, we accept Visa, Master Card and Discover cards.
